My Journey
My path to healing has never been linear — and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Growing up in a turbulent household, I faced trauma, loss, and a profound lack of safety. The emotions were big, scary, and too heavy to hold — so I did what many of us do. I sought refuge in addictions and toxic relationships, anything to escape the noise within. I hit rock bottom. And then I made a choice that changed the entire trajectory of my life — I turned inward.
In that turning, I met myself for the first time.
The real work began there. Confronting deep grief, unresolved trauma, and years of self-abandonment wasn't graceful — but it was the most important thing I've ever done. I found my footing through the 12 steps, and drew strength from programs like Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous, Al-Anon, and Codependency Anonymous. I dove into psychology, attachment science, and transformative modalities — hypnotherapy, EMDR, somatic experiencing — each one unlocking another layer of what had been buried beneath the survival.
And then nature called me home.
Through my permaculture education, I discovered that the earth is one of our greatest teachers. Learning to work with the rhythms of nature rather than against them — to surrender, to release, to trust the cycle — mirrored everything I was learning within myself. Sitting in meditation in wild places, I found that reconnecting with the earth doesn't just quiet the mind. It rewires it. Creative expression, conscious community, and Non-Violent Communication wove themselves into my practice too, alongside so many other sacred traditions that continue to shape the way I show up.
The universe made it undeniably clear — this was my calling.
Today, I bring every hard-won lesson, every modality, every moment of my own becoming into the space I hold for you. No cookie-cutter paths. No one-size-fits-all healing. Just a deeply personalized journey back to yourself — rooted in the body, guided by nature, and held in a space where you are fully, completely safe to arrive.
This is my life's work. And I am so honored you're here.
With love, Brittany 🌿
